Changing It Up...

You might notice a few changes here and there on our site today.  Nothing major but please let me know if something is not working or showing up funny on your screen.  One thing I am excited about is right over there.             Look

See the Verse of the Day.  Well, you may have to scroll down a little bit but it is there.  I love this!!

Today's verse is so true.  I have been studying the Old Testament - good stuff - and one of the things that I am so amazed about is how stubborn those people were and how they just never seemed to "get it".  This quickly brings me to my own self reflection of how stubborn I can be and how I seem to keep having the same lessons repeated over and over in my life.  Can anyone relate here?

I also think this verse is not only relevant to our nation today but it also has to do with our families.  I have always been so fascinated when the Bible speaks about families and generations.  Guess that is where all my love for scrapbooking and family heritage comes from?  This verse from Psalm - May his descendants be cut off, their names blotted out from the next generation.  Psalm 109:13 -  and this one - Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.  Psalm 119:90 - are kind of scary and uplifting all at the same time.  Know what I mean?  Ok.  Had enough "Deep Thoughts by Jamie" yet?  Bullet_Smiley_1

How many of you remember this...

And this was always so funny to me...

Hope you are having a great Thursday!

I kinda remember the deep thoughts thing. My family didn't watch SNL so I just saw it occasionally. Hope you have a great 4th!

Yes! I so remember that. Especially that one about the tree. I remember Leah and I would watch SNL and wait for the Deep Thoughts segments to come on. They always were so funny to us! Oh and who could forget Stuart Smalley?!

I like the lessons from the OT too. I wonder if God thinks that we are as stubborn as the Israelites were? I'm sure we are at times if not most of the time.

Thanks for all the "deep thoughts".

I like the new family picture, and the verse of the day is nice! I too find myself learning the same lessons over and over, but usually I don't realize I'm learning it until the 2nd or 3rd time.

I have no idea what happened to my post?! Here it goes again...

I do remember "Deep Thoughts"! Too funny.

I am sorry that I don't have a pearl of wisdome regaring your "inbox" issue. Whoever created the "inbox" had a sick sense of humor! When have you ever seen an "outbox" OUTWEIGHING an "inbox"?!

Hope you have a great Fourth. We will see you girls on Sunday!

I too had a great love for 'Deep Thoughts'. I also liked Stuart Smalley- but in adult life he stinks b/c
Al Franken is a left wing, liberal turd.
I have to think that if I lived in OT times- that I never would have wondered around in the wilderness for 40 days & 40 nights.
Love the family hospital pic!
Adorable.
