Happy Independence Day!

4th_of_July_3

We hope you and your family are having a wonderful day.  Celebrating our freedom is not something that we should take lightly.  See the verse for today?  Again, I just love this!!  I know that our nation is not the great moral country that it used to be but my heart tells me to keep plugging away and doing things God's way.  He will reward those who keep His truths.

Wow!  See what a difference 1 year can make...

One of the many things that I am thankful for is that I am not nauseous and terribly sick like I was this time last year.  God has been good to us and look what wonderful blessing we get to enjoy this year...

These pictures were taken last Friday evening when we attended I Love America.  It is performed by our church members and we love going each year.  I think this year was my favorite so far.  There are not any more performances but mark your calendar for next year.  Yes, it is that good!!

So, what do you have planned for today?  We are eating a big breakfast, hanging out around the house, and then we have plans to cookout at the Taylor's house with the Powells and Sudduths later on this evening.  I will be sure to take lots of pictures so watch for them later on.  Josh has this new tradition that he wants to start this year - reading the Declaration of Independence.  I have to admit that it has been a while since I have read this important document.  Looking forward to it!  Loved how they stole it in this movie.  Might have to watch it today!

WooHoo

On a totally unrelated note...  It looks like our Inbox (email and paper) is totally cleaned out.  This is such a great feeling and I promise to myself that I will never let that happen again!!  If you have not heard from us, please let us know!  Something might have gotten lost or forgotten in all the CHAOS that was taking over our desk.  Feels so good to have that done and over with.  Think I might dust and take a picture of this happy spot today.

Hope you all have a great time celebrating today!

Happy 4th of July~ I can't believe how fast your daughter has grown! And your boys, wow~

I also love the new summer look of your shelves! I just added seashells to my mantel this year. It was so fun and so 'beachy'.

Happy 4th to you too! I think I saw that performance when I was younger. I had a bff that went to Whitesburg when I was in Middle school and I think her dad took us. I wouldn't have remembered that except for the picture you have up looked familiar. Sounds like good plans for today. WE are cooking out here just for us and then going to some friends' for dessert and fireworks tonight. The kiddos look so cute in their Red White And Blue. What a big difference in those pics from last year and this one. Oh, and I love National Treasure. We watched it again the other day. Have you seen NT2? Not as good as the first in my opinion but still fun to watch!

Congratulations on getting that inbox cleaned out.
I know what a burden that can be.
