We had a great time celebrating Independence Day this weekend. We started out Friday morning just hanging around the house then after naps we headed over to the Taylor's house. The Powells and Sudduths were there too. We grilled out, let the kids play, and then we headed over to the new Bridge Street area to see some fireworks.

On Saturday, we hung around the house. It was nice just having an "extra" day to the weekend but we did not get much done. Unless you call spending too many hours on the phone with our new cell phone company productive. We love our new phones and I think our plan will be a lot better but it took us forever to get everything set up. By the way, I had to get a new # so email me if you want the new one. Josh was able to keep his same one so there is no change there.

Sunday was a pretty typical day for us. We went to worship that morning and then headed home for lunch. The boys took naps while the girls headed over to Baby Emily's 1st birthday party. After that Aunt Nee and Cousin Amanda dropped by for a visit and then it was back to church for evening worship.

Sounds like you all had a great weekend. We were away at my aunt's. It's so hard dragging all that baby stuff around. I was glad to be home again on Sunday.

I love your fireworks pictures! What area were you guys sitting in? We were on a strip of grass behind the Monaco. There were so many people there!
