Helloooo… Is this thing on?

Wow!  Has it really been almost a month since our last update?  So sorry about that! 

I have thought to myself on several occasions how I needed to sit down to post an update or upload some photos for the grandparents but I must admit that just keeping up with “daily life” these days can be a bit tiring.  Especially since I am getting close to the delivery of Baby Elmore in just a few weeks.  I have really had to slow down on my daily activities outside the house.  I do pretty good with housework + school work during the day but come late afternoon/early evening…  I am pretty worn out.  I was getting frustrated a few weeks ago because this pregnancy seemed to really be slowing me down.  I just could not physically get done in a day what I was used too.  I quickly learned that this was God’s way of slowing me down and I also learned to lower my expectations – the ones that I set for myself.  Once I figured all that out, I have been enjoying all my little nesting projects and I am completely ok with the fact that everything might not get done before this sweet bundle of joy arrives.

Ok, sorry about that little soap box…  I am not sure where that came from.  ???

Just please know that we are still here – happy, healthy, and enjoying this wonderful life that God has blessed us with.  I hope you all had a great Easter celebration this past weekend.  We decided at the last minute to head down to Gordo to spend time with family and visit my grandmother who has recently been in the hospital.  It was a very short visit but so nice to see everyone.
