Last week we set up and introduced Emma Lee to her new “Big Girl” bed. I must admit that I have been sort of dreading this move. If you know our little girl at all, you know that she is quite a Spunky Monkey so I thought this move might bring out her little “firecracker” personality, which meant no more peaceful nap times these last few weeks for me. The boys adjusted so well to their toddler beds and I never knew if it was their personalities or the fact that they were both about 15 months old when we made the switch.
I have to admit that I was completely wrong! She was so excited when we got her “pink bed” all set up…
And here are a few cute ones when Daddy tucked her in that night…
As you can tell from the smiles, she absolutely loves it and has done so well. This past week with nap times and bedtime has been a breeze. I wish we would have made the move earlier because she was so ready.
Now let’s just hope that Baby Applesauce (the kid’s nickname for the new baby) will be as easy to get into a good sleeping routine.

Oh my goodness, she's grown so much! She looks so much older now, and just adorable! She's really starting to look alot like CD. That pillow in the window is precious, where did you find that?!
So cute! I'm glad that she is being a good, big girl in her new bed. Who would have thought? Hehe, just kidding ;)
