This past weekend I tackled our Master Bedroom Closet. This was truly a major undertaking as I have very much neglected this little spot in our home for quite some time now. I am sorry to say that I do not have any before photos this time around but please trust me when I say that it was ridiculous in there.
Here is a peek inside after I worked some magic – make that got rid of a ton of stuff - on Saturday….
Josh’s comment that day: We could actually put a sofa or another baby bed in here.
Ha!! Ha!!
Can you tell that I am a low heel/flat kind of gal?
This is one of my new “happy spots”. I separated some items and made 4 “Keepsake Boxes” for the kids. This is for those special items that I think they will want when they get older. Yes, you already see a tad bit of stuff in Baby Elmore’s box there. My precious grandmother handmade Christmas tree skirts for all of them. A keepsake for sure! I just need to make labels for these boxes and enjoy the years ahead so I can add to them.
Well that is about it for my little closet clean out. Josh made 2 big trips to our local thrift store on Saturday so I am happy to say that all that “stuff” is officially out of our house. I was truly exhausted that night but I am so pleased now that things are cleaned up in that space.
Up next… I still need to finish up a few things in the nursery this week so hopefully I can get that done and post photos for next week.

I do the same thing with the boxes. I have the outfits they wore home from the hospital, the smallest diaper they wore, the newspaper from the day they were born, favorite outfits, etc. I can't wait to give them to the kids when they are older!
