Weekend Plans…

Josh and Nathan James got an early start to their weekend last night.  They headed out for a special Dad’s night – just the 2 of them – to a Huntsville Stars game.  The team lost their game but I know that my boys had a great time.  Nate has been singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” all day long today. 

Some highlights…The 2 of them almost got hit with a ball (Nate was so proud to bring it home) and we even heard that they were on the local news last night.  Did anyone else see them?

Tomorrow (Saturday) morning we are planning an early birthday outing for this little guy…

He is so excited about his grandparents (all 4 of them) coming into town to spend the day with him.  He is obsessed with museums lately (good thing this is part of our kindergarten curriculum in the fall) so we are headed to Early Works in the morning – followed by lunch at Rosie’s (his pick).  After church on Sunday, we have lunch plans with some friends and then a Senior Voice Recital for another dear friend who is wrapping up her senior year of high school.

Whew!  As you can tell, it is gearing up to be a fun weekend.  Right now we have some yummy BBQ chicken waiting for dinner and if I have the energy I am going to run out to do some grocery shopping this evening.  I have made the menu for the next 2 weeks so hopefully this will help things run smoothly around here if and when Baby Applesauce decides to make his/her appearance. 

Oh and have I mentioned how fast this little guy is growing up? 

 

I totally cannot stand it!! 

Gotta run!  Hubby is about to walk through the door.  Let the weekend begin…
