My Little Sunshine

Here are some fun photos that I took of Emma Lee over the weekend…

I probably say this all the time on here but this little girl has done nothing but totally turn our lives upside down since her arrival.  Of course, I mean that in the best possible way imaginable.  She is definitely in her 2 year old stage, which is so fun and at the same time just barely tolerable on those “no nap days”.

Emma Lee hangs right in there with her 2 older brothers and is also sweetly embracing her new role as “Big Sissie Lee”.  Her vocal skills are great and she has no problem telling you what she wants or one of her favorites is running to Josh to tell him “Me Pretty Daddy” while she twirls her latest fashion.

Speaking of Emma Lee’s fashions…  She is still fond of her socks. bracelets, and “bairbows”.  That reminds me, I simply must get some photos of her and the “purple shoes” that she wears all day long.  She would sleep in them if we let her.

She also loves to sing and dance.  2 favorites are “You are my sunshine” and “Jesus loves me”.  Josh and I both love how passionate she is when she sings the “they are weak but He is strong” part.  So precious!

Most of all, I simply love her fearless personality paired with those big dark, brown eyes.  There is no doubt that she has her Daddy, me, and those 2 big brothers wrapped around her finger.

I would like to frame a few of these but I have not decided yet which ones.  Did you have a favorite?

She is so beautiful and even though I see a lot of Elmore in her, she really reminds me of you at that age (That comment really makes me feel old even though I was only 9 when you were 2....but I remember you then!)
