Joy Lynn {four weeks}

Four glorious weeks. 

Joy Lynn, You are doing great and growing so much each day.  You are just about to outgrow all of your newborn clothes so I guess we will be moving up to the 0-3 month clothes this week. 

You are really starting to enjoy your baths.  I can just see the total relaxed and trusting look when Daddy washes your hair.

I love when you stare at me with those big, deep blue eyes.  They totally stop time!

In the past 2 weeks, you have spit up on me just 2 or 3 times but you have gotten me really good – clothes, hair, and I even had to change the bed sheets and shower that one time. 

You are still sleeping in your baby bassinet beside our bed.  You usually wake up every 3-4 hours for a midnight snack but you have blessed us with 5 glorious hours for a few nights now so I think we are onto a trend.  You really are a great sleeper and I can usually get you right back to snoozing pretty easily (after you burp, of course). 

I love to watch all the cute noises and facial expressions while you dream. 

You are starting to give us little half smiles and I cannot wait for that 1st “real” giggle.  I was so thrilled to capture this little series of grins the other day…
