Look Who Is Coming Today…

Poppy!!

That’s right, my Dad is coming up this morning to kidnap some of our kids.  He is taking the boys down to Gordo for the big Mule Day festivities this weekend.  They are planning to stay the rest of the week down there to visit all the grandparents, great grands, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  I know Caleb Davis and Nate are going to have a blast swimming, fishing, tractor riding, visiting the feed store, going to Vacation Bible School, eating way too many sweets, and pretty much being spoiled in every possible way.  Josh and I are both jealous that we cannot tag along for the week.

These pictures that we took last week just make me smile!!  After everything my Dad went through last fall with his heart surgery, I am just so thankful and grateful that he is able to hop in the car and come for a visit to pick up our boys.

Warning to all Gordoians:  The Elmore boys are coming to town!

Of course, I will be home with this little firecracker all week…

Nothing like family who will come and take in your children. The boys will have a blast. Good luck with the potty training...we're trying to figure out the same thing with our Caleb.

Love all the pictures! Are those Emma Lee's infamous purple shoes she loves so much? Good luck with the potty training. We are still in that boat too!

Looks like you have a fun week ahead. :) How great for your boys to spend time with grandpa. That's the best.

The camera I use is a Canon Rebel XSI and I really don't do too much editing. I have Photoshop 7.0 and I usually just crop my pictures how I want them and then do "auto fix" to adjust any color issues.

I have my camera settings set to take pics the way I want them (the color and saturation popped, etc.) so most of them come out the way I want them without much editing. Hope that helps! Your pictures all look great!

I'm jealous too, Jacob's not even out of school yet! Today is his last day though. I just LOVE that pic of Emma Lee with that little lip curled up, love it.
