Menu Monday

Menu_Monday

It is a low-key kind of week around here.  Not much going on besides some summer clean out projects and lots of outdoor fun in the summer sun.  Hey, that just rhymed!

Here is look at what’s on the menu this week…

  • MondayShrimp Scampi and Sautéed Squash and Onions  I will be at grocery store shopping and eating a sandwich so I do not have to smell any of this in my kitchen.  Bullet_Smiley_1
  • TuesdayChicken Alfredo, Salad, and Garlic Bread
  • WednesdayTacos, Refried Beans, and Chips/Salsa
  • ThursdayPita Bread Pizzas and Salad
  • FridaySwiss Chicken, Veggies, and Rolls
  • SaturdayMeatloaf, Macaroni and Cheese, Sweet Peas, and Rolls
  • Sunday -  It is Father’s Day so I am thinking we will grill out some yummy sausage and perhaps make jambalaya

Speaking of recipes, I almost bought this cookbook magazine tonight at Wal-Mart.  It looked like a good one with some “doable recipes” in it.  I also really miss my Kraft Foods magazine subscription.  It used to be a complimentary one but then they started charging for subscriptions and I just never renewed it.  Does anyone else miss that one?

I know a post is just no fun without photos so here are a couple cute ones of Chef Nate cooking in Nana’s kitchen last week in Gordo…

I would love to know what is cooking in your kitchen this week,

I LOVED my Kraft Foods magazine and I really miss it. I probably should subscribe to it...that and the Food Network magazine. I have a binder that I keep all of my Kraft Food recipes...you can see it here if you'd like:

I loved that magazine too! It always had fun things to make and good recipes, and don't forget the coupons! Nothing much cooking here in my kitchen this week, I just delivered my kids to Nana's house. I love seeing your menus and getting new ideas!
