The girls and I have had a blast this week but I am really missing my 2 little boys this afternoon. I am looking forward to my big ‘ole hugs from them tomorrow afternoon.

Oh and I have to share this sweet little story from last week…
Last Thursday when Caleb Davis was getting ready for Poppy to arrive, he started telling me how much he was going to miss me. Later that morning, I leaned in while he was deep in conversation with Joy Lynn. I asked him what he was talking to her about and these are his exact words…
Mama, I was telling Joy Lynn how much I was going to miss her when I go to Gordo.
And then he looks up at me with big ‘ole crocodile tears in those dark brown eyes and I have to say that it just about broke my heart. I mean how sweet is that? He has such a sweet old soul and I cherish that about him.
I have had a couple of you ask me about the “Joy Lynn” pillow that I showed in her 1 month photos this morning…
I totally wish that I could say that I made that beautiful pillow but sadly I do not know how to sew. That is one item on my “things to learn this year” list though so maybe I will be able to whip one up before too long. I ordered it from the fabulous Crystal over at her little bit funky Etsy shop.
Emma Lee actually got the 1st “name” pillow for her birthday back in February…
I loved hers so much that I decided to order one for Joy Lynn right after she was born. And then I saw where Crystal decided to start making little boy ones so I got this bright idea to order 2 more so that we could take the kid’s birthday pictures with “the pillow” each year. The other 3 pillows just arrived this week so look at what will be waiting for Caleb and Nate in their beds when they get home…
Don’t you just love them? So fun and funky!!

Those pillows are ADORABLE! Miss seeing you occasionally. We are having craft night tomorrow night if you'd like to come hang out for a bit. Although, I see the boys get home tomorrow, so you may be snuggled up with them for the evening! :)
I am in LOVE with these. Thanks for sharing...I will have to check this out. I'm sure your boys with love theirs.
