Well so far, so good. Our 1st day of school has been going great. Everyone woke up happy and excited to get the day started. Like I said in my journal this afternoon, I could write a book about this 1st day experience but I will spare you all the details and just let you see some fun photos of our morning.

And I could not leave out my 2 little helpers…
We had a full morning with devotions, enrichment, reading, bible lessons, story time, and math.
And with all the morning fun, I did lose 1 of my assistants along the way…
This was totally unplanned but for some reason Caleb Davis thought that now that he is in Kindergarten that he was supposed to prepare his own lunch, so I let him.
And of course Nate had to jump in and do his too…
This was also unplanned but Josh joined us for lunch and brought me these little pretties…
And such a sweet little note…
We had a yummy lunch and this was my view at the cafeteria today…
And since Josh was home, we decided to take a few more “1st Day” photos with the teacher…
And let’s not forget about The Principal…

Well that’s a little peek at our morning. I was doing pretty good on the whole crying thing until I laid CD down for his rest. Then I pretty much lost it then!! But I am much better now!
Everyone is down for a nap right now. We still have some read alouds + history to do this afternoon and then we will call it a day!

Why do I never think to do signs like that? I don't think I've ever taken pictures on our first days of homeschool. Good idea! I'll take some today and act like they were our first day. . . close enough. :)
I can't believe it's back to school time already. Boy does time fly. I LOVE your new blog header...that is such a cute idea.
