How many of you remember the Pizza Hut Book It! program from elementary school? Well, I absolutely LOVED that program in 4th grade – Ms. Cowart’s reading class. There was nothing better than reading books all month, getting a star sticker on that big ‘ole purple pin, and then earning that free personal pan pizza where my parents would take me out on a special trip to Tuscaloosa to redeem the fruits of my labor. So you can imagine my excitement when I learned this summer that Caleb Davis would be eligible for the Kindergarten program beginning this fall.
Fast forward a few months and I have one proud little boy at the end of October…
The date is on the calendar for his special “pizza reading date” and he is already busy working on filling up his chart for November.
Ahhh… I love to relive those special memories with my babies. Such sweet blessings!!

I LOVED Book It too!! Can't wait till Tyler can join! He will love it!
We always had to buy Luke a pan pizza, too, because he didn't understand why Grant got one and little brother didn't!! They were 3 and 7!!

I vividly remember going to the Pizza Hut on North Parkway and to get my reward!

I hadn't thought of this in years. I loved Book It. It always seemed so cool to be able to get my own little pizza.
