Happy Saturday! I hope you were all able to get outside and enjoy the wonderful weather today. We had a great time up on Green Mountain at Caleb and Nate’s preschool Thanksgiving picnic.
You may remember these cute little Indians and Pilgrims from last year…
Well just look at how much they have changed since this time last year…
This little girl had a lot of fun too…
The kids all enjoyed a fun story with Ms. Melody while lunch was being prepared.
Side Note: We read This is the Feast and it is a favorite around our house. If you do not have this book in your fall book baskets, we highly recommend it.
After the crafts and the story, it was time for some yummy potluck lunch. Emma Lee just had to sit by “Talen”…
And on the other side of the table were the 3 Stooges…
I think Caleb Davis was enjoying that yummy chicken leg, don’t you?
After lunch, we all headed out for a fun hike around the mountain. It was such a fun afternoon (probably my favorite preschool event that we do all year) but I did find out MUCH later from my hubby that a snake was spotted on the nature trail this afternoon. He was glad that I was trailing so far behind the group and I missed all that excitement. All I was thinking when he told me that little story was that my Prince Charming did not scream out “Run Jamie Run” so that I could take off back to the van where I was safe from all things outdoors and snake related. You think I am kidding but I am so not. Ha!!
Maybe I will be able to go back up on the mountain for our Thanksgiving picnic next year. Ha!!
Bright Lights Families: There are more shots on our family’s share site so be sure to check those out here.
