Enjoying the break…

178
Christmas Eve in our jammies.

Sorry for the lack of updates here lately.  Just really enjoying this wonderful time of year with the babies and enjoying the break from “almost” everything internet related.  We hope you all had a great time celebrating Christmas.  We were down in Gordo last week and we had a great time with family and celebrating the birth of our Savior.  We still have our little family celebration left.  We will dig into the stockings and open all the presents under our tree on Friday night.  (Posted the reason for this a few years ago here.)

Even though we still have 1 more holiday celebration left, we are slowly getting back into our daily routine.  Josh is back at work and believe it or not…  the boy’s mean teacher made them go back to school yesterday.  Smile  I have set aside my extra time today to check email so hopefully some of you will hear back from us before too long.  But really I am dying to get back to a “regular” routine with all holiday decorations neatly stacked in the attic and my New Year’s resolutions firmly set and ready to go.  Tell me that we are not the only people who get really excited about New Year’s resolutions!!

One of the biggest thrills was when we got back home Sunday night and we found this…

More blogging *hopefully* soon and until then…  You will find me up to my eyeballs in triple A batteries and those pesky plastic twist ties that you find on toys.

Our trash crew is going to love us tomorrow…

I get very excited about new year's resolutions too. This year, I have many since I got "Large Family Logistics" for Christmas. I LOVE that book!!! When I opened it, Wesley said, "this book comes highly recommended by your idol." Ha, ha! I talk about you so often that he referred to YOU as my idol. Also, I saw your comment on the side about wanting a family closet. Where would you put one in your house? I would love one too! In my dreams, it would be a laundry room/family closet. Maybe my dreams will come true. We are planning to have our house on the market within the next 2 months!
