About Us

This page is just a little bit...

Josh and Jamie ~ Fall 2010

Welcome!  We started this little website as a way to keep in touch with family when we got married and moved away from home.  It has really grown into so much more than that for us – a way not only to document our daily lives but we are now able to reconnect and create friendships and for that we are thankful.  Jamie does most of the updating but every once in a while Josh will pop in to give his two cents about things too.  Our website is mostly about everyday life with our little family with some scrapbooking, organization ramblings, and good recipes thrown in there too.  We are a homeschooling family so we try to share bit and pieces of this exciting journey that God has called us too.

Everyone asks us when we met and the truth is...  We do not remember!  We are both from the same small hometown in Alabama and we truly cannot remember a time in our lives when we did not know each other.  We were acquaintances from preschool to middle school, good friends during junior high, and we started dating the summer before our junior year of high school - way back in August 1996.  We dated through college and watched each other grow up and be changed by God.  After dating for 7 years - yes, that was seven - Josh proposed and Jamie said YES!  We were married the following August and moved.  Jump ahead...

The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful marriage and also 4 precious babies - Caleb Davis (5 - Kindergarten), Nathan James (4 - Preschool), Emma Lee (3), and Joy Lynn (2010).  Of course, Baby Lala (2009) will always be in our hearts.  These little bundles of joy are a lot of work but it is nothing in comparison to the great blessings that they are to us each and every day.

Thanks for visiting our website.  It amazes us that even one person (besides our parents) would check in on us to see what we are up too.  We are truly blessed far beyond what we ever deserved or could have imagined.  We know that God has even more in store for us and we cannot wait to see how the story unfolds.

Stay tuned to find out…
